Hello Marina, Tom, and the other members of the C12 team.

It is with great enthusiasm that I would like to share my interest in your open call to be the next graphic designer for C12.

PROJECT

Corpo

(2024-2026)

Corpo is an electronic music collective that I co-founded with two DJs (Augma and DJ Social Agenda) and another graphic designer (Amaury Eckern).

We organize events, curate the DJs, create the graphic visuals, the scenography… All the visuals are the result of a collaboration between Amaury and me.

For the past year and a half, we have produced more than ten events in Liège and Brussels, and have been invited to Paris (9B & Montezuma).

Among the artists we’ve programmed are: Axefield (NL), Binary Digit (FR), Catalina, Coline Cornélis, D-Nite, DJ Life (AUS), DJ Takeaway, Holy Coco, Hugo Freegow, Lauravioli, Mata Disk (NL), Mika Mayonnaise, Shoplifter, Simsaara, among others.

ABOUT

This project has allowed me to gain an in-depth understanding of clubbing culture and to think about an event as a whole: artistic direction, communication, scenography, logistics, and organizational constraints.

Working closely with DJs, venues, and the audience has taught me how to design visuals that are impactful and readable, in a context where graphic identity fully contributes to the club experience.

Kultura

(2023-2026)

PROJECT

Kultura is an alternative cultural venue in Liege, supported by a cooperative project, shared by many collectives, with a highly active and eclectic program.

Since 2023, I have been responsible for all the venue’s graphic communication: posters, visuals for social media, merchandising, and internal materials.

ABOUT

This project has confronted me with challenges very similar to those of a club like C12: adapting a graphic identity week after week, ensuring that every artist’s name is spelled correctly (even the most unusual ones, like “Prncjdg & Areghisi”), and used to last-minute changes.

C12 Concept

PROJECT

The visuals on the right are meant as an exploration of how I could work with and build upon your existing visual identity.

I’m not sure how much you want to modify your identity, but I believe it would be valuable to align it more closely with your philosophy: "It’s a place where freedom, diversity, creativity and alternative culture are protected from the restrictive and normative outside world. It is a place where a passion for art & music in all forms unites all kinds of identities”.

For example, incorporating typefaces from the Bye Bye Binary foundry could be particularly meaningful.

ABOUT

“Bye Bye Binary is not only about designing typefaces; the collective aims to foster critical dialogue on the political charge of graphic design, language, and the representation of bodies and identities. Their work is a militant and community-driven research process, conducted by and with the people concerned, through a feminist, queer, trans*, gay, bi, and lesbian lens.”

This is just one example of how we could align the visual identity with your philosophy. I would be happy to explore further possibilities beyond typography to create a truly distinctive and meaningful visual language that reflects the spirit of C12.

PROJECT

Concours Circuit

(2025)

Le Concours Circuit highlights a promising selection of emerging artists from the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, chosen by a jury of professionals during auditions. Each selected project benefits from structured and personalized support.

I designed the visual identity for the 2025 edition based on engravings from Filippo Buonanni’s Gabinetto Armonico (1722), a collection illustrating imaginary or extinct instruments. This allowed us to represent a wide musical diversity without emphasizing any particular style. I then provided the Court-Circuit team with canvases so they could update the visuals according to the selected projects, performance schedules, and more.

ABOUT

The identity was created as a flexible visual system designed for the long term, capable of handling repetition and variation—challenges closely related to those of C12.

PROJECT

Kultura's birthdays

(2024-2026)

Alongside the regular communication for Kultura, I design the visual identity for their anniversary weekend each year.

These events bring together several collectives familiar with the venue and require the creation of specific graphic identities that are distinct from the club’s main identity, yet remain clear and coherent within its ecosystem.

ABOUT

This work has allowed me to develop an approach to creating strong event identities, designed for short timeframes and high visibility.

Each project involves designing a dedicated graphic concept and adapting it across printed, digital, and animated media, while considering the distribution constraints specific to club events.

PROJECT

Set de Table

(2021)

Set de Table is an event where electronic music meets food culture. For this project, I was asked to design a visual identity that blends the visual codes of gastronomy with those of electronic music, creating a hybrid language that reflects both universes.

ABOUT

The identity explores contrasts between organic and synthetic forms, precision and texture, tradition and contemporary club culture, resulting in a graphic system that feels both playful and structured.

PROJECT

Floral Party

(2024-2025)

Floral Party is a series of club nights organised by the music label Floral Records.

For each edition, I designed a dedicated visual identity, developed as a flexible system and adapted across various communication formats.

ABOUT

While maintaining a recognizable core, each iteration explores new graphic directions, allowing the event to evolve visually from one edition to another.

Working on Floral Party involved developing recurring event identities that remain fresh while staying consistent over time.

Artwork & album design
for the bands Spore and The Brums

(2025)

PROJECT

I created all the physical materials for the albums of the bands Spore and The Brums.

The work included designing the vinyl records, CDs, and merchandising. Both vinyls involved specific production choices: one was die-cut into a floral shape, while the other featured a screen-printed sleeve.

ABOUT

Those projects focused on designing non-standard editorial objects, where form, materials, and production techniques fully contribute to the project’s identity.

PROJECT

Mysositis - DC Lou

(2025)

Myosotis is the second single by DC Lou, a Brussels-based singer working within a dream and bedroom pop aesthetic.

The artist provided me with a collection of materials: footage shot on Super 8 and iPhone, as well as a set of personal objects linked to the song’s universe.

ABOUT

After gathering and digitizing these elements, I handled the editing of the footage and the animation of the objects to create a music video with a deliberately homemade and naive aesthetic.

PROJECT

École Bonne Nouvelle

(2023)

ABOUT

I also sometimes work without a computer, notably on projects involving manual production and installations.

In this project, I co-designed the scenography of a primary school theater play with Maud Dallemagne, created from drawings produced by the students during workshops. The project resulted in a paper collage installation, designed in direct connection with the stage space.

(02) Curriculum vitae

(03) Why am I suitable for this job ?

I have experience in a comparable project, Kultura. Even though their visual identities differ, the workflow is quite similar: adapting line-ups on a weekly basis for posters and social media content, while paying close attention to the accuracy of information.

Through my collective, Corpo, I have also been directly involved in organising electronic music events, which allowed me to gain a concrete understanding of the codes, constraints and realities of this environment.

I have visited C12 several times already; I am familiar with the venue and its atmosphere.

I am constantly engaged with the cultural sector : most of my work takes place within this field, I am part of a collective, I work in a shared studio alongside a music label and a publishing house, I am a musician in two projects, and I regularly attend clubs and concert venues. This ongoing immersion has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the challenges and realities of the sector.

I am a full-time freelance graphic designer and therefore fully available, including for last-minute adjustments.

As a strong supporter of nightlife, I enjoy being an active contributor to this scene and helping it endure, despite the crisis it is currently facing.

“It’s a place where freedom, diversity, creativity and alternative culture are protected from the restrictive and normative outside world.” Holding a master’s degree in social design, and in light of my personal convictions, I can only fully align with this philosophy.

In conclusion, I believe that my practice, experience, network and energy are strong assets in responding effectively to your needs.
